New Atul Gawande book
Yay! One of my favorite writers has a new book out. Better: A Surgeon’s Notes on Performance
Gawande's first book, Complications, is one of my favorites of all time. Everyone I've recommended it to has loved it. He's a brilliant surgeon and a beautiful writer. Can't wait to read the new one.

I ordered this on Amazon today! I still have your copy of Complications.
I listened to an interview with Atul Gawande on the Scientific American's Science Friday podcast on 4/18/07. Having a research interest in the history of medicine, I found it facinating. I can't wait to read the book!
