No Judge Wapner jokes

Are you a geek? Take the test. I got a 28, which sounds about right.

I scored a 42, which means I'm screwed. I was diagnosed with Asperger's as an adult, so the results offered little in the way of surprise. I did, however, find the test and its results to be quite accurate. So, I'll pop some more Zoloft and finish my 500-page focus study on Kubrick's fascination with "CRM114." I also think, considering the scoring methodology of the AQ test, that once you've crossed the 32-point mark, you've pretty much traveled beyond the more functional realm of "geek."

Did you all notice that the test was designed by Ali G's cousin? Those Baron-Cohens are a prolific bunch.

Other observations:

Sacha Baron Cohen is left-handed. And that opens up a whole can of worms right there.

Sacha Baron Cohen is married to Isla Fisher, who starred in “I Heart Huckabees” with Dustin Hoffman. Dustin Hoffman and Ali G. both appeared in an episode of “Curb Your Enthusiasm” with Larry David. Larry David’s character on the show, with his lack of any internal self-censoring mechanisms, often displays what many observers describe as Asperger’s tendencies. The Guardian wrote an interesting piece on that.

So, it’s all relative in the end. Oh yeah, Fisher also played Shaggy’s demonically possessed girlfriend in the first Scooby Doo movie. And as you know, southpaws were originally believed to be demonic familiars and agents of the devil. And Matthew Lillard, who played Shaggy, also starred in “13 Ghosts,” which dealt with the subject of demons. Wow, I’m getting over-stimulated again. Time for another Zoloft-Straterra-fluvoxamine cocktail. Bottoms up!
